Adebola Adesoye

He is an American trained mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas and Maritime Industry in Nigeria. He has over 17 years’ experience working in various industries in key management roles including Oil & Gas, Maritime, Free zone, and Construction etc. As a sales Director of a reputable Maritime organization, he has Secured sales i.e. vessel maintenance, docking, repair, chartering etc. from over 150 marine assets (valued over USD 800 million).

As a former General manager of a Shipyard, he has managed docking, maintenance, and repair of various maritime/marine assets valued over USD 650 Million. He has managed significant multimillion dollar multidisciplinary project functions ranging from Project Engineering, Cost Control, Contract Management, Risk Management, Planning, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality and Document Control in both greenfield and brownfield environments with extensive stakeholder management.

He has led in Marine/Maritime assets dry docking, repair and servicing, chartering, vessel building such as barges, logistics and supply base management (including vessel Port cargo offloading/loading etc.) and fabrication of a range of complex structures including equipment packages, FPSO appurtenances and other oil and gas structures from contract award to commissioning/completion stage i.e. Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Installation (EPCCI). Driven by passion for entrenching best practices in business management and client service excellence his wide-ranging experience makes him able to function in almost any environment.

He has worked with various stakeholders including ministries, departments and Parastatals to develop platforms that provide solutions and support for day-to-day running of business activities to ensure key objectives of creating Shareholder value whilst maintaining world class HSEQ performance.
