Makesh Tendulkar

Over two decades ago, he has developed a deep passion for the technical and operational services on vessels, including the planning and execution of repair and fleet time maintenance program.

He has a very wide experience in the monitoring, compliance and ensuring vessels are fully certified according to the international maritime legislative requirements, SIRE, Flag and Classification Society regulations.

Mahesh has worked for over Sixteen (16) years in main fleet shipping and has also put in Six (6) years’ experience as a Chief Engineering on Oil-chemical tankers and as well as another 4 years as a Second Engineer onboard of Oil-chem tankers and bulk vessels respectively.

He has sailed on VLCC, product tanker and container on junior ranks which has made him to acquire so much knowledge and practical usage of various plant and machineries with deep knowledge in troubleshooting and solving problems of various machinery system and associated electrical and control / monitoring system.

As a Chief engineer, he has carried out Three (3) Oil-chemical Tankers for dry docks. He has also been involved in planning, preparation and execution of drydock work as part of 3 drydock team then as a junior officer rank. His experience in MAN ME and WARTDILA rt-flex electronic control of the main engine is highly commendable.
